Bahra University Hosts Prestigious National Sports Conference ‘HIMVLAVE 2: Conquering Peaks’

In a landmark initiative that blended the worlds of sports, medicine, and academia, Bahra University successfully hosted the second edition of its flagship national sports conference — HIMVLAVE 2: Conquering Peaks. The conference served as a dynamic platform to explore the transformative power of sports in enhancing physical, mental, and community health.

The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Col. Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil Ji, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Shandil praised Bahra University’s commitment to holistic education and emphasized the importance of integrating fitness, preventive care, and mental well-being into the educational ecosystem. “True development is impossible without a healthy nation. Conferences like HIMVLAVE are vital in building a future where youth are empowered not only academically but physically and morally as well,” he said.

The conference witnessed the august presence of national medical leaders from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), including:
