Nadda said that the situation was so miserable that the state had imposed toilet tax in the state and that shows the poor mindset of congress leaders. He said that congress always played cards of caste, religion, division of society to meets its political interests. Himachal became first state to impose Toilet tax in the state and this had lowered the reputation of the state across the country. This was stated by JP Nadda National president of BJP while addressing BJP workers at Bilaspur today. He said that corruption is at its peak in Himachal Pradesh and state government is always crying for central aid for running its petty affairs. Nadda said that the situation was so miserable that the state had imposed toilet tax in the state and that shows the poor mindset of congress leaders. He said that congress always played cards of caste, religion, division of society to meets its political interests. He said that congress remained antinationalist and advocated interests of Pakistan and China.

National president of BJP said that BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought development to the state. He said that projects like four lane highways, Tunnels and houses for homeless, AIIMS at Bilaspur, three medical collages at Hamirpur, Chamba and Nahan, Super Speciality Hospital and Cancer Hospital at Shimla, Hydro Engineering College Bilaspur, three cement factories, a Bulk Drug Park in Una, Medical Device Park were given by centre to the state.

Nadda said that congress leader Rahul Gandhi denigrate India whenever he visited foreign lands. He said that India had become fifth largest economy of the world under leadership of PM Modi. He added that country is growing at GDP rate of 6.8 percent.

Nadda said that Sukhu is first CM of the state who failed to give salary to employees on time. He added that Sukhu had closed number of government institutions that were started by Jai ram Thakur as CM. He said that Sukhu failed to keep his MLAs with him and nine of them left him. He said that BJP government had given Rs.1190 crore to the state government for disaster management in four installments.

Jai ram Thakur former Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh would remain indebted to PM Narendra Modi for his help to the state. He said that it is only ‘air’ that is not taxed in the state while people are facing huge burden of taxes in the state. He said that congress government had imposed Rs. 25 toilet tax in the state which is shameful for the state.

Anurag Thakur former Union Minister  and Rajiv Bindal state BJP president also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
