There is no place for indiscipline in the party: Rakesh Thakur
Rakesh Thakur lashed out at the Congress for making misleading statements about Anurag Thakur; said, "Anurag Thakur will play a key role as a member of the JPC constituted on the Vikasit Bharat Shiksha Pratisthan Bill-2025."
Bharatiya Janata Party District President Rakesh Thakur congratulated former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur on being appointed a member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). He said that Anurag Thakur's appointment to the JPC constituted on the Vikasit Bharat Shiksha Pratisthan Bill-2025 is a testament to his experience, foresight, and commitment to nation-building.
Elaborating on the role of the JPC, Rakesh Thakur said that the committee will thoroughly study each provision of the bill, consult with education experts, policymakers, state representatives, and stakeholders, and recommend necessary amendments to make it more effective and practical. He expressed confidence that Anurag Thakur, with his experience and perspective, would make a significant contribution to strengthening and inclusive this bill.
Slamming the Congress, Rakesh Thakur said that Congress leaders are attempting to divert attention from Rahul Gandhi's irresponsible behavior inside and outside Parliament by making baseless and misleading statements against senior BJP leaders, especially Anurag Singh Thakur. He said that instead of engaging in meaningful debate on serious national issues, Rahul Gandhi often resorts to disrupting House proceedings, making personal comments, and making baseless allegations. Making unsubstantiated allegations, avoiding debate, and making contradictory statements on sensitive topics demonstrate his political immaturity. Rakesh Thakur said that BJP leaders always present their views based on facts and maintain parliamentary decorum, while the Congress leadership often deviates from the issues and attempts to play politics.
Speaking about the defacement of posters at a Hamirpur BJP Mandal, Rakesh Thakur stated that the party's stance on discipline and organizational decorum is completely clear and firm. He added that former Chief Minister Prof. Whatever was done with the posters of Prem Kumar Dhumal and Anurag Singh Thakur, whether intentionally or unintentionally, is completely unacceptable.
He said the matter is being investigated and anyone found guilty will face strict action as per party rules. “There is no place for indiscipline in the Bharatiya Janata Party. The strength of the organization is based on discipline, respect for the leadership, and the commitment of the workers,” he clarified.
