Swastik Sharma young lad of the district had brought laurels to the district by securing 35th rank in Combined Defense Services exam today. Significantly, Swastik Sharma is from village Lower Amroh in gram panchyat Sareri of Nadaun subdivision. While talking on the success of grandson Braham Dass Sharma grandfather of Swastik said that his grand son has fulfilled a long cherished dream of the family. Swastik’s father Tilak Raj Sharma is additional director of industry department in the state and mother Kavita Sharma is a teacher. His sister Nandini is studying in class nine in Chandigarh.
Swastik (19) is in final year of graduation at Khalsa College of Technology and Business Studies at Mohali. Swastik has done schooling from St. John’s school in Chandigarh. Swastik said that wearing inform was his first choice and he wanted to serve in Indian Air Force as pilot.
