Leaders sought CBI Inquiry in alleged fake degree scam of MBU

The district congress committee organized a protest rally at Gandhi Chowk here today led by district president Rajender Zar. Speaking on the occasion Rajender Zar said that BJP governments at centre and state failed on all fronts and public had made up mind to topple the government in the state. He said that the government of BJP had failed to deliver to the expectation of people and was the country was reeling under poor economy. He said that prices of commodities had hiked and were out of reach of general public. He said that BJP government in center had put the country on sale. He alleged government assets that were developed by previous governments in past 70 years in the country were put on open auction. He said congress would not tolerate this and would raise voice against this move.

MLA Barsar Inder Dutt Lakhanpal said that government had failed to control price hike and unemployment issues. He said that people in the state were unhappy due to wrong policies of the government. He said that government had failed to tackle corona pandemic in the state.

Rajender Rana MLA Sujanpur said stressed on alleged fake degree scam of Manav Bharti University. He said that not only congress but former Chief Minister of BJP Shanta Kumar had raised question on the investigation of the scam. He alleged that over lacs of fake degrees were sold by the university and BJP government was not conducting fair investigation.

BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to President of India seeking CBI inquiry into the university scam and other issues pertaining to price hike and unemployment in the country through Deputy Commissioner here.
