Kullu, March 22
The National Championship of Skiing and Snow Boarding will begin on Asia’s second highest Gramphu ski slopes near Koksar from 26 to 28 March for the first time after Atal Tunnel Rohtang gift. Lahaul-Spiti administration and Himachal Pradesh Winter Games Association have started preparing for it. Army and ITBP players from seven states will also participate in the competition. Technical Education Minister Dr. Ramlal Markanda said that the government is serious about promoting winter sports. The ski slope of the world’s second highest Grandfu will be developed, said members of the association.
