Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur held detailed discussion on organisation of International Kullu Dussehra Utsav here today. He said that International Kullu Dussehra would be organised from October 15 to October21.
Jai Ram Thakur directed to complete preparations for the Dussehra festival in time bound manner. He directed to ensure proper security system, uninterrupted power supply and adherence of Covid-19 guidelines.
Chief Minister said that fairs and festivals represent our rich cultural heritage. He said that State Government is committed towards conservation of fairs and festivals. Kullu Dussehra is known globally for its unique identity.
Education, Language and Art Culture Minister Govind Singh Thakur also about the meeting held with District Level Committee and District Kardar Sangh.
It was decided that all deities would be invited for the Dussehra festival and all religious ceremonies would be organised traditionally.
