Truck and driver involved in accident apprehended at Nadaun

Three police jawans of HPP crushed to death in truck accident near Gagret in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The truck had reportedly hit a bike near Asha Devi (Gagret) in Una district yesterday night. Three police personnel travelling on the bike were killed in the accident. Pertinently all of the three police Jawans were from Hamirpur district and were posted at the Himachal – Punjab border post.
The Truck (HP67A0397) and its driver that was involved in Hit and Run case of Gagret apprehended at Nadaun. The truck was apprehended near village Jalari and truck driver was arrested identified as Amarjit Singh of Nadaun. The deceased police jawans were identified as Vishal and Manoj Kumar from Bhoranj and Subhash kumar from Badsar. All of them were earlier posted at 4th IRB and were posted at the border post recently.
Akriti Sharma Superintendent of Police had confirmed the arrest of the truck driver and confiscation of the truck involved in the accident.
