Schools will remain closed for students in Himachal till 22, teachers will have to come to school

There will be holidays for students in Himachal Pradesh schools till August 22. In view of the third wave of Corona, the state cabinet has taken this big decision. Apart from this, the transport in the state will once again run with 50 percent capacity. A big decision has also been taken on the entry regarding movement from the outside state. Under this, every person to come within the state from August 13 will be required to bring a negative report of RT PCR or certificates of both doses of the vaccine.

In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday, a major decision was taken to keep schools closed for students in Himachal Pradesh from August 11 to 22. However, it will be mandatory for teachers to come to schools.Teachers will get students to study online from schools. Schools were opened for the students of class 10th to 12th from August 2. On the other hand, a decision will be taken in two-three days to start a new academic session in colleges from August 16. The cabinet has also put a stop to the earlier arrangement for the students of Class fifth and eighth to consult the teachers in the schools. Students of these classes will also not be able to come to schools, while ITI and coaching centers will remain open for the time being.

On the other hand, the government has made it mandatory for every person coming from outside states to have RT PCR negative report of corona, certificate of both doses of Covid vaccine or 24 hour rapid antigen test report. Earlier, the Covid negative test report was made mandatory for the devotees only.

At the same time, buses will now run for Himachal and outside states with 50 percent seating capacity. The condition of corona negative report and vaccine certificate will also apply in interstate buses.
