Hamirpur’s 27 year old jawan martyred in Poonch

Hamirpur, July 24

There was mourning in Ghumarvi village of Lagmanvi area of Hamirpur district when people got to know tha their 27-year-old son Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya was martyred in a mine blast along the Line of Control in Operation Duty in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

This information has been given to the district administration by the army through phone.In the information given to the district administration, Indian Army spokesperson said that Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya was seriously injured in the accidental Line of Control mine explosive and was immediately rushed to the nearest medical facility but he died there.

Jammu based Defence spokesperson Lt Col Devendra Anand said that Kamal Dev was a brave, highly motivated and honest soldier.The spokesperson said that the nation will always be indebted to Kamal Dev for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.

Former Chief Minister PK Dhumal has also expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Sepoy Kamal Dev, telling him thhat his contribution to the country will always be remembered. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has also expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the martyr Kamal Dev Vaidya. He has also expreesed condolences to the parents of the martyr.

Kamal Dev was working on the post of Constable in the Dogra Regiment. He had returned from home in the month of April. Kamal Dev’s marriage was also fixed for the month of October, for which preparations were going on in the family. There is a wave of mourning in the area.
