Nine more kiosks removed from bus stand Hamirpur

Hamirpur, July 20

The caimpaign to remove the kiosks built near bus stand Hamirpur is going on continously. Today in the third phase, nine more kisosks built on the land of Tourism Corporation were removed by the administration. This work was being looked after by Council Executive Officer K.L Thakur in the presence of police.

It is worth mentioning that the effort to remove these illegal kiosks built near the bus stand is going on for the last two years, due to which about 50 kiosks have been removed from here till now, while some kiosks still survived.

Instructions have been given to the people by the District administration to vacate these kiosks and if these people do not vacate these kiosks within the given time limit, then the administration can also adopt strict action on it.

On the other hand, Sub-Divisional Officer CL Thakur said the removal work of these kiosks is being done in a phased manner. And people are being allotted shops in the commercial premises built there. He said that the administration wants this work to be completed with the coorporation and consent of the people.
