10 died as Bolero camper fell in deep gorge in Shilai

Sirmaur, June 29

Ten wedding processions have died in a road accident on Monday evening at around 5:45 pm in Shillai subdivision of Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Bolero camper full of processions fell in a gorge of about 300 meters deep from the road, due to which the car was blown away.

It is suspected that the accident happened due to brake failure. All the deceased in the accident are said to be from Kando Bhatnol and Chareyu villages in Shillai. The tragic accident has ahookk the entire area. Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur has expressed deep grief over this accident.

President and Prime Minister expressed condolences; the central government will give two lakhs each to the family of dead.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over this accident. An announcement has been made to give 2 lakh each to the next kin of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured from the Prime Minister’s Relief fund.

President Ram Nath Kovind also expressed grief over this road accident and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
