Clouds spoiled the show for some time in Hamirpur
Hamirpur, June 21
Sky gazers witnessed majestic Solar eclipse today when the moon passed between the Earth and the Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of partially. It was be the first solar eclipse of the year 2020 as the next one would take place on December 14, this year. The celestial event would be visible from much of Asia, Africa, the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, parts of Europe and Australia, depending on favourable weather conditions.

The solar eclipse started at 10:15 am IST here and went on till 1: 35 IST. The eclipse was its peak around 12:05 p.m. Even though it took several minutes for the moon to pass in front of the sun, the total eclipse was about two to three seconds.

Most of the public remained indoors while the enthusiast sky gazers did not miss a second of the event. The clouds in the sky played as the view spoiler but still everyone kept staring the sky for every view of it with protective gears.
