Five year old girl was hooked on her way to school by the culprit

An innocent angel gets Justice as accused who tried to rape and molested the little girl is sentenced for five year imprisonment and fine of Rs. 10000 by the court today. The accused was booked under POCSO and rape acts in June last year.
Significantly, a person identified as Mukhtiyar Singh was arrested by the police on after an FIR was registered against him on June 6 last year on the complaint of mother of a five year old minor girl. It was alleged that the accused had molested and raped the girl when she was no her way to school. It was also alleged that the accused took the girl to his shop where he executed the crime. The case was investigated by woman sub inspector Pooja, who submitted the required evidences to ensure the conviction.
Rakesh Kainthla Special Judge in his orders had acquitted the accused of offence punishable under section 376 of IPC but convicted under section 10 of POCSO act.
Arjit Sen Thakur Superintendent of Police said that accused Mukhtiyar Singh of village Baroha was sentenced to five year imprisonment and fine of Rs. ten Thousand by the court today. In case of non submission of fine amount the convict had to undergo two months more imprisonment, he added.
