Three persons were tested positive for corona virus in Una district of Himachal Pradesh on April 02. All of them were reportedly staying in a mosque in a town of the district. It was learnt that eight samples were sent to Dr. Rajinder Prashad Medical College and Hospital in Kangra and three of them were found positive today. The spotlight of the news had sent a shock wave in the state and fear of spread of corona virus in the state had aggravated. With the exposure of the three new cases the total corona cases had gone up to Six now. Pertinently, one had died and one had recovered while four were under observation, isolation and treatment at medical college.
The sources revealed that these persons were gone to attend the ‘Markaz’ (religious meeting) at Nizamudin in New Delhi organized by a section called Tiblighi Zamat. Significantly, over thousands of people had gathered to attend the markaz and clerics were taught the religious teachings. The gathering continued to stay at the Nizamudin centre even after lockdown in the country.
Meanwhile all the three persons were shifted to medical collage at Tanda for treatment and isolation. It was learnt that all of three were religious gospellers and were frequent visitors to the mosque. An official statement revealed that two of them belong to Mandi town and one was from Sundernagar in Mandi district.
