SHIMLA: Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that 5 September was associated with one of most eminent teachers Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, scholar and an educationist. 
Dr. Radhakishnan was an eloquent speaker, a successful diplomat, brilliant statesman, powerful administrator and a renowned writer for whom teaching was not a profession but a mission and complete devotion.
