Shoolini University hosts Ideation Conclave  to boost innovation for Viksit Bharat
Shoolini University organised the Ideation Conclave 2025, a flagship event of the Student Research Council (SRC), in collaboration with EYUVA and iHUB, which was aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. 
The conclave brought together academic leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and young innovators to foster a culture of research, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
Dr Pankaj Vaidya, Head of  Yogananda School of  AI, Computers and Data Sciences (YSAICDS) and Managing Director of SRC, opened the event by emphasising the importance of inquiry-based learning and early engagement in research. Chancellor Prof P K Khosla highlighted Shoolini’s progress in research excellence and announced incentives for students publishing in SCOPUS journals and filing national and international patents.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla and Vice President Ms Avnee Khosla, in their video messages, urged students to think boldly, pursue value-driven ideas, and recognise their role as contributors to national growth. Chief Learning Officer Dr Ashoo Khosla inspired students by sharing philosophical perspectives on the origin and power of ideas.
Pro-Chancellor Mr Vishal Anand announced Winter Innovation Month, during which top ideas will receive complete institutional support for prototype development and commercial readiness. Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chief Coordinator EYUVA Centre, and Coordinator iHUB Shoolini, Shoolini University and Partnership Director of the Student Research Council outlined the infrastructure and funding available to students for innovation.
SRC Founder Mr Anitya Kumar Gupta shared the council’s growth and research targets, while industry speakers such as Mr Lalit Singla (Infosys), Mr Sagar Mahat (NITI Aayog), and Mr Gourav Sharma (Techcaad) guided students on innovation ecosystems, interview preparedness, and the practical use of AI. The introduction of Techcaad’s interactive robot Chi-Chi offered students hands-on exposure to computer vision.
A special highlight was the launch of SCOPEX Rising Star by Dr Ashoo Khosla, enabling students to present research using a single visual slide. Ms Anika’s team won the competition, followed by Mahesh, Parth, and Akshat.
At the IDEATHON, featuring 30 student teams, Riya Vij secured first place, with Ayush, Tammana, Bhagyalakshmi, and Shivangi earning runner-up positions.
The event also celebrated research achievements, including a UK patent filing by Ms Chahat Kushwah and SCOPUS publications by Harshit, Chetna Pal, and Abhishek.
Significant collaborations emerged from the conclave. The Department of Industries Bihar offered relocation support and funding up to ₹10 lakh for student startups. Techcaad announced internships and placements, while the PSA Office confirmed SRC’s onboarding to the Manthan innovation platform. Funkaar committed annual funding of ₹80,000 for SRC activities, and national mentors pledged continued support under Viksit Bharat 2047. Infosys expert Mr Lalit Singla also agreed to conduct skill-development workshops for students.
The conclave concluded with closing remarks by Mr Anitya Kumar Gupta, who highlighted the strategic partnerships and future pathways opened for Shoolini’s young innovators.
