Shoolini University celebrated National Space Day

Shoolini University celebrated National Space Day with great enthusiasm at the School of Physics and Materials Science, in collaboration with Astronomy Minor students. The event highlighted India’s achievements in space exploration and inspired students to look beyond the horizons.

The programme began with an introduction by Dr. Pawan Kumar, Assistant Professor, who spoke about the importance of space science in modern times. Uday Singh, an M.Sc. Physics student, delivered an inspiring speech on “Why We Study Space Technology”, stressing how space research connects to the future of humanity.

Adding to the excitement, Kevin, a B.Sc. Astronomy student, gave a detailed presentation on the Chandrayaan missions and the technological progress that has made India a proud space power. The session concluded with reflective remarks by Ashish Thakur, M.Sc. Physics, who motivated students to pursue their curiosity and passion for space science.

The celebration was marked by active participation from students and faculty members. It not only created awareness about India’s remarkable journey in space but also encouraged young minds to dream big and aim beyond the skies.
