Rajiv Kumar MD HP TDC won silver medal in Pistol shooting

Rajiv Kumar an IAS officer and Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has won silver medal in pistol shooting in 23rd Kumar Surendra Sing Memorial Shooting Championship (Pistol Event), held in Bhopal in Masters category. The two weeks championship was held from April 22 to May 5 in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh by National Rifle Association at Madhya Pradesh state shooting academy.
The officer had not only brought laurels to the IAS fraternity of the state but also to his home district Kangra and town Palampur.
To add honour to the state the RAI also put Rajiv Kumar on the list of its diginateies to award medals to winners in other categories.
Rajiv Kumar said that pistol shooting remained his passion and he would practice more to win Gold Medal next time. He said that he is thankful to all who supported in his endeavour that led to win a silver medal for the state.
