Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Party Workers at Samirpur

Senior BJP leader and two-time former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Professor Prem Kumar Dhumal, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotic spirit at his residence in Samirpur today. The occasion witnessed an enthusiastic participation of BJP workers and supporters from across the district.
On this auspicious day, Prof. Dhumal unfurled the Tricolor in the presence of party workers, who resonated the atmosphere with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.” The celebrations were marked by nationalistic zeal and reflected the unity and dedication of the party cadre towards the nation.
While addressing the gathering, Prof. Dhumal remembered the supreme sacrifices of freedom fighters and martyrs who laid down their lives for India’s independence. He said, “Our Independence was achieved after immense struggle and sacrifice. It is the duty of every citizen to contribute towards building a strong, self-reliant, and developed India.” He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat” and urged party workers to spread the message of patriotism and nation-building at the grassroots level.
Party workers also reiterated their commitment to the ongoing “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, ensuring every household proudly hoists the national flag during this Independence week.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets among party workers.
