Despite Corona Curfew imposed in the state people rushed to markets to pileup stocks of groceries. This had led to crowding in the public places and defeated the purpose of restrictions imposed. 
Notably, state government had allowed to open Shops of essential items to open for three hours during the curfew. In Hamirpur the timing for opening shops is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. but instead of maintain social distancing people are seen in haste to make purchases.
People in thronged to markets to stock up groceries, medicines and other essential items in corona curfew. Long queues of customers were seen outside grocery, bakery, medicine and other shops in all districts.
The Corona Curfew will remain in force in Himachal till 6 a.m. of May 17.
