Kangra: One more coronavirus case surfaced in Kangra Himachal Pradesh on Monday. Taking the infaction count to 60 in the state. Additional Chife secretary RD Dhiman said the fresh case was reported from kangra District.
A 63-year-old man, who had returned from Delhi on May 8, has been tested positive. He is resident of Chaounda village in Kangra sub-division. Kangra district has so far registered 10 COVID-19 cases, out of which four have been cured of the virus, while one person has died. Currently, there are five active cases in the district, all of whom have returned from Delhi or have come in direct contact with those coming back from the national Capital.
On Sunday, Himachal Pradesh had reported six new cases, including a 19-year-old girl from Jeer Bala village in Kangra.
