Delhi: The forests of southeastern Australia are in a terrible fire. The government has declared an emergency for the third time in a season. Tens of thousands of trees and shrubs and thousands of animals have perished in this fire. People living close to the forest have also suffered heavy losses. The hot air and poisonous smoke have made living in nearby towns and cities difficult. People are running away from home. The number of dead has reached 23. Around 50 crore animals and birds have died.
