3.3 magnitude earthquake hits in Kinnaur Himachal Pradesh

SHIMLA: A moderate intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.3 hit Himachal Pradesh’s tribal district Kinnaur Tuesday evening but there was no report of any casualty or damage to property, the Meteorological Department said.

The quake’s epicenter was at a depth of 5 km in Shimla district, the department said, adding that tremors were felt in and around the district at 5.41 pm on Tuesday.

There is no immediate report of any casualty or damage to property in Kinnaur

In July this year, another moderate intensity earthquake, with 3.1 magnitude, shook Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district on. There was no report of any casualty or damage to property.
