Will protect interests of HPSEBL employees, CM to Joint Action Committee
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the State Government was committed to the welfare of the employees of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board and their demands were being considered in a positive perspective. 
He was presiding over the meeting with the Joint Action Committee of Electricity Board employees and engineers at Oak, Over Shimla today. The financial and technical aspects of OPS and other demands of the employees were discussed in length with the committee.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has always been sensitive to protect the interests of its employees and numerous decisions were being taken for their welfare. We have taken many measures towards ensuring fiscal discipline and management in the state. The financial position and functioning of government boards, corporations and other institutions is being strengthened. The government is also committed to improve the financial condition of the State Electricity Board as well and will certainly protect the interests and welfare of the employees.
Principal Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan, Principal Secretary Bharat Khera, Convener Joint Action Committee Lokesh Thakur, Co-Conveners Heera Lal Verma and Laxman Kapta and other members were also present.
