The distrcit administration released Rs. 1956 Crore credit plan was for Hamirpur district for 2025-26. The plane was presented by the NABARD for various sector under Priority Lending Programme in the meeting chaired by Rahul Chauhan Additional District Magistrate here today.
ADM said that the plan focuses on fostering sustainable economic growth in the district by boosting financial support to sectors like agriculture, micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs), and social infrastructure. He said that lending credit for next fiscal year would include allocation of Rs. 745.03 Crore for the agriculture sector, MSMEs, and Rs. 223.24 Crore for education, energy, social infrastructure etc. and Rs. 987.72 Crore for housing and renewable anergy.
ADM said that PLP would prove to be a catalyst for growing Rural India and serving the needs of all stakeholders in the rural ecosystem. ADM emphasised the importance of banks and financial institutions in achieving district's credit and development goals. He said that collective efforts would turn these projections into measurable outcomes. District Development manager of NABARD, Lead Bank District Manager, District Planning Officer, Deputy Directors and officials from various departments were also present.
