Victim Accused instigation by Manant of the temple

A bloody embroil at Baba Balak Nath temple market left three injured including one seriously on the midnight of July 26. It was learnt that the Police had registered FIR against employees of Mahant of Baba Balak Nath including Dalbir, Rajesh and Sonu and four others on the complaint of Kanta Devi of village Chakmoh of Barsar Sub Division. It was learnt that the victim Kanta Devi had even accused Mahant of the temple for the embroil. As per police FIR number 0110 of Police station Barsar the police had registered the case under IPC act 1860 and section 447, 448, 341, 147, 149, 323, 504 and 506.

It was learnt that the dispute occurred when some persons broke locks of shops of Kanta Devi and when Kanta Devi came there to employees of the Mahant did manhandling of Kanta Devi and other women accompanying her including Nidhi Devi, Neelam, Nisha Kumari and her brother Tilak Raj. All were later taken to Barsar civil hospital for medical examination. The police had registered the case and investigation was initiated. Meanwhile Mahant Rajinder Gir had also reported a complaint to the police but police was investigating the matter before registering any complaint /FIR on the behest of Mahant of the temple.
Kanta Devi said that she had also narrated her plight to Akriti Sharma SP Hamirpur. She said that the approach of Police was also fair and alleged that police personnel appointed there favouring accused. It was learnt that women were beaten with iron rods and were manhandled by the accused.
