Center government had given unparallel support in development: Jai Ram Thakur

Himachal Pradesh had done unparallel development during the last four and a half years under leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. This was possible due to the double engine governments at the Centre and the State said Jagat Prakash Nadda BJP National President while addressing ‘Samman Samaroh’ organized at ‘Rath Ground’ in Kullu district, today in his honour.
Thanking people for according him rousing welcome, Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Kullu district was a Dev Bhoomi, where almost every village in the district has its own deity. He said that the enthusiasm in people indicated that the BJP would again form the Government in the State under leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He said that BJP is the only political party that does what it promises.

JP Nadda said that Central Government was committed to make India a ‘Vishav Guru’. He said that it took years to develop vaccinations but under the leadership of the PM Narendra Modi, corona vaccine was prepared within nine months after the first case of Covid-19 was reported in the country. He said that over 1900 million vaccine doses were provided free of cost to the people of the country. He said that biggest vaccination campaign of the world was successfully accomplished in the country. Nadda also appreciated the efforts of the State Government in leading the country in administering first and second doses of the vaccine.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur speaking on the occasion said that projects such as IIM and AIIMS were sanctioned to the State during the BJP regime. He said that Medical Colleges at Chamba, Sirmour, Hamirpur, Mandi were sanctioned to the State which by the BJP Government at the Centre. He said that all the National Highways and four lane projects were dreams of BJP leaders of double engine governments.

He said that health programmes like Ayushman Bharat Yojna etc. were implemented in the country when JP Nadda was Union Health Minister. He said that this reflected of his political vision. He said that Satellite Centre of PGI was coming up in district Una and these projects were came to reality due to support of Centre government.
CM said that the present tenure of the State Government has been full of achievements and accomplishments. He said that schemes like Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Sahara Yojna, HIMCARE, Shagun Yojna etc, were boon to the vulnerable sections of the society. He said that the State Government was spending over Rs. 1300 crore for providing social security pensions.
He said that the State Government had decided to provide 125-unit power free of cost to the domestic electricity consumers of the State and 50 percent concession on bus fare in HRTC buses to women of the State. He said that due to development programmes and welfare schemes BJP had gained popularity in the state and would form government again. He assured an honest governance would prevail in the state again with the support of people.
