Tokyo Olympics: Victory in hockey, Pooja Rani and Sindhu lose

The second week of the Tokyo Olympics has now started. The nation’s hopes have been raised in the discus throw on the ninth day.

Indian star badminton player PV Sindhu had to face defeat against Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals. Tai defeated Sindhu 21-18, 21-12. On the other hand, in boxing, Indian boxer Pooja Rani (75kg) had to face defeat in the quaterfinals. She was defeated 5-0 by Qian of China.
