In many districts of Himachal Pradesh, heavy rain has caused great destruction on Monday. At Bhagsunag near Mcleodganj, there was a heavy flow of water on the road, due to which the vehicles in the parking lot were washed away. Many vehicles have been damaged. Several houses were washed away in Manjhi Khad in Chetru near Dharamshala.
On the other hand, rain and flood have caused great destruction in the low-lying areas of Dharamshala. Water has entered people’s houses and cultiable land of farmers has also been washed away.
Debris has fallen on the homes of many people and they are seeking help from government administration. Aut-Larji-Sainj road was closed due to flood in Pagalnala in Kullu district.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah informed the people that he has spoken to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on the issue and also assured that a team of National Disaster Relief force (NDRF) will be involved in the rescue operation. Along with this, he also said that center will provide all kind of help TO Himachal Pradesh to come out of crisis.
