Defense Minister Appraised on Chinese developments on Border: Jai Ram Thakur

The Chief Minister said that Centre was concerned about Chinese developments on Border. The Chief Minister was replying to questions of journalists at Annadel Helipad after arriving from New Delhi. He said that he had specifically appraised Defense Minister Raj Nath Singh about the Chinese development on Indo-China Border in Himachal Pradesh. He said that Defense Minister had taken serious note of the information and assured that borders along China would be kept under surveillance.

CM said that his meeting with Hardeep Singh Puri Minister of State for Civil Aviation was also fruitful as the minister had assured him of early execution of International Airport at Balah in Mandi district.

Chief Minister said that his meetings with senior party leaders was fruitful. He said that it was discussed that how to contest coming bye election in the state including Jubbal Kotkhai, Fatehpur and Mandi.

Jai ram Thakur hinted that some more relaxations could be given in corona curfew after cabinet meeting proposed on June 11. He said that transport could be relaxed along with increase in market timings. He said that demand was from various sections of society to bring some relief to the business sector that was adversely affected.

Jai Ram Thakur Chief Minister said today that the social media was box of fake stuff and one should not relay on it. Answering to a question on any possibility of change of guard in the state he hinted that he would complete his tenure as it is.
