Hamirpur, March 26
Jai Ram Thakur Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental works of over Rs. 22.68 crore virtually for Sujanpur Assembly Constituency today.
The CM inaugurated tehsil office building at Tauni Devi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.15 crore. He laid foundation stone of Revenue Colony at Hamirpur to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.01 crore. He laid foundation of augmentation of pumping machinery with automation of Lift Water Supply Scheme Duhak, Patlandhar, Dhail and Baleth of tehsil Sujnapur to be done at Rs. 4.90 crore. He laid foundation stone of flood protection work on left bank of river Beas tehsil Sujanpur of the district.
While addressing virtually, CM said that the construction of Revenue Colony would be completed in next two years. This would provide residential accommodation to the revenue employees of the district.
He said that the despite of Covid-19 pandemic government had ensured that the pace of development continued uninterrupted. He said that budget presented was appreciated by all and has ensured welfare of every section of the society.

Chief Minister said BJP had won nine Zila Parishads and had also performed well in Panchayats and other Urban Local Bodies elections. He said that this had reflected people’s faith in the policies and programmes of the State Government.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Rs. 12 crore Mini Secretariat building and bridge over Pungh Khud being constructed by spending Rs 11 crore would be completed soon.
