COVID-19 tally surged to 2136 in Himachal

Shimla, July 27 (QNN)

The tally of COVID-19 patients in Himachal Pradesh had rose to 2136 on Sunday, with 929 active cases in the state. According to latest reports 1,178 people had recovered from the viral infection and 12 people have lost their lives to the novel virus.

As many as 15 patients had migrated from Himachal Pradesh. 2564 sample were tested on Sunday, out of which 1 was tested positive, and 110 were tested negative. The results of 2453 samples was yet to come.
Meanwhile, the country reported a spike of 48661 corona virus cases and 705 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Health and Family Welfare ministry on Sunday.
Total 13,85,522 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the country including 467882 active cases 885577 cured and 32063 deaths so far as per health ministry reports.
