64 COVID-19 cases in Himachal in a day, tally Surged to 1,522

With Sixty-four more people tested positive for corona virus in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday the state’s infection tally surged to 1,522. This included a two month old girl child.
R D Dhiman Addl. Chief Secretary (Health) said that 26 fresh cases each from Solan and Sirmaur districts were reported while five from Kangra, four from Una, two from Hamirpur and one from Mandi. In Una, a two month old girl and her 28 year old mother in Bathu village were tested positive, he added. He said that they had returned from Maharashtra. In Sirmaur, all 26 fresh cases were from Govindgarh locality of Nahan, that had already 12 positive cases till Saturday.

These new 26 positive cases include 15 men and 9 women between the age group of 18 – 57 years, and two children aged two and five years.
