Bollwood actor Amitab Bachchan has tested positive for covid-19. He has been admitted Mumbai Hospital Nanavati.
Amitabh Bachchan’s house was declared a containment zone after the actor and his son Abhishek tested positive for COVID-19. Abhishek’s wife and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya also tested positive for the coronavirus and will be ‘self quarantining at home’. The 77-year-old screen icon said he was touched by the wishes coming the family’s way for their speedy recovery. Abhishek took to Twitter and wrote, Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.
