Offices to open with 100 percent staff from June 01

The government offices in Himachal Pradesh would open with 100 percent staffing from June 01. This was notified by the state government in its meeting here today. Significantly, the government had ordered to operate government offices with 50 percent staff and controlling officers were advised to make roster accordingly. But in the recent notification government had directed all departments to operate with hundred percent staffing and to avoid crowding during opening and closing, make two shift arrangement with difference of half hour.
It was notified that since the public and private transportation was permitted by the government hence government offices would operate with full capacity. The arrangements of sanitizers at the entrance and exit gates of offices was made mandatory. It was made mandatory to install Arogya Setu App for every employee coming to office. The norm of social distancing and wearing of mask and gloves was also advised in the notification of the government.
RD Dhiman Additional Chief Secretary (Health) said that the status on educational institutions would be intimated separately. He said that the notification would also cover employees working in universities, IHBT, CSIR, IIT, IIM, IIIT and NIT in functioning in the state.
