75 from Ahmadabad Gujarat and 101 from Thane Maharashtra

As many as 176 persons landed in Hamirpur amid corona virus outbreak today. Significantly, 101 persons had boarded the from Thane in Maharshtra and 75 had started their journey from Ahmadabad in Gujarat. All these 176 persons were sent to five quarantine centers in the district including Navodya Vidhalya Dungari, Radhaswami centre Darkoti, Polytechnic College Baru, Government College Nadaun and NGO Bhawan in Ward No-7 Hamipur. Pertinently, the train from Thane arrived at Pathankot Junction while the train from Ahmadabad arrived at Una Railway Station.

Harikesh Meena Deputy Commissioner said that the process of sampling and testing was initiated and the sampling of all those who had arrived from Thane was completed. He said that the report of samples taken today would be available either by tomorrow evening or day after tomorrow. He said that no one coming from red zones would be sent to home quarantine.
Notably, as many as 61 persons were tested positive for corona virus in the district while 55 were active and 5 had cured and one had died due to corona virus. Pertinently, one 75 year old corona virus person was shifted to government medical college Ner Chowk after he developed complications at RCH Bhota today morning. His condition was stated to be stable at NerChowk.
