HP govt developed portal for online registration of stranded people

In Himachal Pradesh,the state government has made an online portal http://covid19epass.hp.gov.in/ for the registration of stranded people .
The portal will register the people of HP who do not have any mode of conveyance/ vehicle and have been stranded in other states  and likewise people of different states who have been stranded across Himachal Pradesh  due to the curfew and  lockdown. The data so collected, compiled and collated shall be used to devise a comprehensive plan for the movement of stranded people. Meanwhile , Union Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed movement of people across the state borders in view of this the state government has also appointed nodal officers in order to ensure smooth, orderly departure of the people between Himachal Pradesh and other states and union territories.

Principal Secretary Revenue and Disaster Management, Onkar Chand Sharma  has been named State Nodal Officer and Director Tourism and Civil Aviation and Managing Director HRTC Younus as State Joint Nodal Officer for this task. The State Nodal Officer can be contacted on mobile number 94182-30009 and State Joint Nodal Officer on mobile number 88940-35375. It may be recalled that a large number of Himachali students, travelers, pilgrims, business persons are stranded in various states and union territories due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Similarly, students, tourists, business travelers and industrial workers from outside states and union territories are residing in different parts of Himachal Pradesh and are keen to return to their respective states of origin.
