“There is no age to chase your dreams, Do what you love to do” said Shailja Chander Haut Monde Mrs. India worldwide. She had been selected for final rounds of the contest to be held in Greece in October this year.
The 47 years old educator by profession said that she was wanderer by choice and a designer by chance. A great cook, love to carry out innovations in whatever she does. 
She makes friends at the drop of a hat and give her best to her family consisting of two sons Satvik (21year old) and Aryamik ( 19year old). She was Married to Vivek Chandar who is an Engineer and is working with Qatar Petroleum.
Having teaching career of 25 years.her last job was of a Headmistress at Pre-Primary Wing in Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, New Delhi.
She said that embracing everything in life with zeal and positivity surely leads you to a pedestal whereas it is the wish of Almighty and dedication of your own spirits. She wanted to be a fashion designer, but my grandmother motivated her to do B. Ed for her sake.
Her life moved on with adding more numbers to her age but at the same time adding more to her learning and experiences which shaped her as a beautiful person who has a soul to feel and who breathes to thinking good for others.
Discussing on how she entered into glamour world she said that she wanted to try something adventurous. She said she loved to dress up, socialize, Travel and Explore. So this platform was the option and motivation came from a friend Ritu Vashisht and husband Vivek Chandar. 
She said that the it was not the end here, the journey had just begun. She was sure that by the time she reaches final destination in October which is Greece, she would have a complete makeover just not of her outer beauty or appearance but also of her inner strengths.
She admitted that Haut Monde Mrs India Worldwide 2019 had given her the opportunity to accomplish new woman in her who would aim to help people discover the happiness, peace and beauty in themselves.
“I Just want to say to all that there is no age to chase your dreams, do what you love to do, follow your dreams… Be the reason of someone’s smile… And above all raise a good human beings.” , she added.
