Ravinder Dogra a social worker from the district is nominated for Padama Shri award for the fourth time this year by District Language Officer here yesterday. Nikku Ram DLO here said that this is for the fourth time that name of Ravinder Dogra is nominated for Padama Shri award from the district.
He said that earlier his name was nominated in 2020, 2021 and 2022 under social worker category. He said that Dogra was into social service from last 18 years and his contribution during covid-19 pandemic was noteworthy. He added that during pandemic Ravinder Dogra had organized sanitization programmes in districts including Hamirpur, Kangra and Mandi for two years.
Ravinder Dogra said that he had devoted his life for the service of people and was serving people across cast creed and religion barriers. He added that apart from sanitization programmes he had supplied medicines, ration and even did financial help of poor and needy. He said that he also try to help people in getting benefits of welfare schemes of the government.
