School will open for classes 10th to 12th from August 2 in Himachal Pradesh

In Himachal Pradesh, a decision was taken in the cabinet to open schools for the students of class 10th, 11th and 12th. Schools will be opened for these classes from August 2.

This decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Schools will have to follow the SOP made to prevent corona infection.

The cabinet has also given permission to open coaching, tuition and training institutions from July 26. These institutions will have to follow Corona SOP.

Students of class 5th and 8th can come to schools for counselling from August 2. Attendance will not be mandatory for them. Online studies will continue.

Research scholars will be allowed to come to the University for research. The schedule for this will be issued by the university administration.

The Cabinet has also approved to fill up 100 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in Himachal Pradesh Secretariat.These posts will be filled through direct recruitment. In the meeting, it was also decided to create a new sub- tehsil in Kalbog of Kotkhai tehsil of Shimla district.
