Delhi police moves to SC against bail of Three Students activists

The Delhi Police moved to Apex Ccourt for cancelation of bail of JNU students Devangana Kalita, Natasha Narwal and Jamia Millia Islamia student Asif Iqbal Tanha arrested in Delhi riots case. These three accused had appealed for release in the lower court on Wednesday, on which the court had reserved the decision and today it was heard. Delhi police has filed a petition against this order. Now Supreme Court will hear this petition on Friday.

 

The High Court had granted them bail on June 15 itself, but the Delhi Police has sought more time for the paper work, due to which these three had not come out yet.

Devangana Kalita and Natasha Narwal have demanded early release from the sessions court it is learnt.
