Kullu: A cardboard factory has burnt to ashes in Mouhal, about five kilometers from the district headquarters. The loss is estimated to be around 20 million. The incident occurred late at night. After receiving the information, firemen with three fire tankers reached the spot and were extinguished after a heavy fire, but by then the cardboard factory was burnt to ashes. Fire Incharge Prem of Fire Department says that the loss of about two crores has been estimated in this incident. He said that the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. But the factory has been completely gutted by this incident. Apple cartons were made here and cartons were also stored in large quantities inside this factory. Although the cardboard factory store is elsewhere, at present, a large amount of cardboard was placed inside the factory to make cartons. Meanwhile, SP Gaurav Singh said that the incident occurred late on Sunday, due to which the factory of Maharani Packing Limited Industrial Area Mauhal was burnt. He said that although there was no known loss in this, the factory owner suffered heavy loss of goods.
