Shimla: Recently, Himachal experienced the biggest snowfall of this season on Wednesday, January 8, 2019. The snowfall started at 5 am and continued till late in the evening. As many as 582 roads including 5 national highways were closed in the state due to heavy snowfall. A young man died after slipping in the snow and falling into a ditch in Guna village of Sunara, Panchayat in Chamba district. The youth went out of the village on Tuesday evening to enjoy snowfall with his friends. While slipping his foot, he fell into a deep ditch, which led to his death.
