Natāṣā Guleria grabbed the title of the state level beauty contest mv-Miss Himachal 2019 just at the age of 20 on Saturday night. She was crowned and decorated with awards and trophy on the occasion along with a free holiday package at Dharamkot and a cheque of Rs. ten Thousand. This was a great moment for the bold, beautiful and talented girl who is perusing BCA at the moment at Dharamsala.

Hamirpur’s Babita was first runner up and Priya of Bhoranj was second runner up of the prestigious pageant that concluded here on the night of December 28.

Natash, the winner of this beauty competition organized by the media vision company said that where there was a lot of learning by participating in the competition. She said that the victory had come with responsibility to maintain the dignity of the crown and social responsibility on the other side. He said that every moment spent during the competition would be remembered throughout the life. Natāṣhā said, here we have learnt to combat challenges and learnt to live with nature. Notably, the contestants stayed in jungle for a night at Ultimate Survival Camp Site in village Jajwar o the banks of river Beas. They also learnt to fight fears by doing rafting in the river and trekking in the dense woods of lower Dhauladhar ranges. The Ultimate Survival Camp Site also offered a night stay in the tents to the contestants of the beauty pageant. A gift hamper was also given to the contestants by the USCS.

Babita Kaushal the first runer up of the State level beauty contest mv miss himachal 2019 said that every moment of the competition was a memorable moment. It was a great opportunity to  explore our own self. She said that girls leant to face the challenges of society to fight and move on.
Priya second runner up of the Beauty competition said she wants to make strides in the world of modelling in the future and serve the people who are not adopted by the society. She said that she leant to fight fear and could explore her inner strength. She said that doing adventure activities was great fun at the campng site. The major challenge was to do spider net climbing during the competition. Winners Kajal ṣarmā  winner of 2017 pageant and  and Nousheen winner of 2018 crowned the winners of the event. During this, fashion designer, Poonam Patiyal, was present as the Chief Jury of the event.

The Beauty Contest manager Shiva khan said that 85 young girls participated in the beauty competition and auditions were held in Hamirpur, Mandi, Solan and Dharmaṣālā . as many as 27 girls had qualified for the grand finale but only 9 could participat in the three days event held here.

Shiva Khan said that the first day participants were briefed about the program that started from the December 26. On 27th December at 6 a.m., all participants visited the National Institute of Technology and participated in the cleanliness campaign at the Children park at Hira Nagar at 7 am. On the same day, all participants went to the ultimate saravā’īvala camp site on ‘a night in the jungle’ program.

 

The participants also visited prestigious Him Academy Public School and played a basket ball match there. Chandarprabha Laknahpal Director of the school gave tips to the girls and shared her experiences of life with them. The winners were awarded the prize of prize for nearly 50 thousand rupees. A two days holiday package was given to the winners of the event by Hotel Dev Cottages at Dharamkot, which is one of the best resorts near Mcleodganj and Dharamsala. The drive in property is luxurious destination itself.
