Shimla: The tremors of light intensity earthquake were felt in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, causing no loss of life or property. An official of the meteorological department has said that the quake came at 10.51 am, the intensity of which was recorded 3 on the Richter scale. In the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, a catastrophic earthquake occurred in 1905, in which more than 20,000 people died.
