Hamirpur, October 02
Two persons were rekilled and two were injured as a truck rolled over them while they were walking on the road side near village jhiraladi near Bhota today. The deceased were identified as Umesh Kumar and Rajiv Kumar of district Araria in Bihar. The injured were identified as Surender Yadav and Deepak Kumar both from district Araria in Bihar. It was alleged that the driver of the truck bearing registration number HP24D3436 had fled from the site of accident was identified as Ravinder Kumar of Badsar subdivision.
Arjit Sen Thakur Superintendent of Police said that case had been registered under sections 279, 337, 338 and 304 of IPC . He said that the bodies of the deceased were moved to the hospital for post-mortem and injured wer admitted at Bhota hospital.
