Cleanliness drive by police officials at Gauri Kund Manimahesh Lake

The police officials, who have been deployed on duty at Gauri Kund and Manimahesh Lake at about 13,000 feet, set an example by launching a cleanliness campaign.

They also took out a cleanliness rally on Monday to motivate pilgrims to keep the place neat and clean.

According to an official communiqué, 50 police officials, including women, had been continuing the drive for 12 days, giving a message of cleanliness to the devotees of Lord Shiva.

They were also collecting solid garbage and wet waste. Additional Superintendent of Police Shamsher Singh led the campaign.
