PUNE . Five people were killed in a fire that broke out at a cloth godown near Pune on Thursday. The fire was reported around 5 am when the workers were asleep in a room above the shop located in the Devachi Urli village in the outskirts of Pune. At least five fire tenders were deployed to battle the blaze. The fire has been doused now. The people who sustained injuries are undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
