Government poised to provide of 3000 jobs in government sector

CM directed administrative officers to address public issues on priority

The state government had decided to speedup selection process of appointments of various categories on priority. Chief Minister while addressing a meeting of administrative officers said that special emphasis should be made on recruitment of various categories including JOA(IT), JBT, PTI, NTT etc. which were delayed for long. He said that special focus be done on recruitment on compassionate ground as this would not only benefit the family members of the deceased but also provide employment to the needy.

CM said that thrust be laid on ensuring the completion of development projects and issues related to common people be redressed on priority.

Jai Ram Thakur said that all the developmental projects which have been hanging fire due to NGT clearances  be expedited so that the projects could be started at the earliest. He said that projects particularly related to various departments were not only being delayed but the people were not getting the benefits of these projects in time.  This was also resulting in cost escalation, he added.

Chief Minister said that the Government would not tolerate laxity in execution of development projects and would not hesitate in taking stern action against the erring officials. He said that work on projects of PWD Department in including NABARD and PMGSY should be completed in time.

Jai Ram Thakur stressed that special thrust be given on early execution of Chief Minister’s announcements. He said that slackness in this regard would be viewed seriously.

Ram Subhag Singh Chief Secretary assured the CM that administrative secretaries would ensure effective implementation of the policies and programmes of the State Government.

Additional Chief Secretaries Prabodh Saxena and J.C. Sharma, Principal Secretaries Onkar Sharma, Rajneesh and Subhashish Panda, Secretaries Devesh Kumar, Akshay Sood, Ajay Sharma, Vikas Labroo, C. Paulrasu, Rajeev Sharma and S.S. Guleria attended the meeting.
